Security Manager

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Security Manager to design, implement and oversee comprehensive security strategies across our organization. The role involves creating policies, managing budgets and leading a dedicated security team to ensure a safe and protected environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with department heads to assess and define security requirements.
• Plan and execute holistic security strategies and procedures.
• Control the security operations budget, track expenses and document processes.
• Supervise, recruit and train security personnel.
• Gather intelligence, implement preventative measures and respond to emergencies.
• Develop work schedules, allocate tasks and monitor staff performance.
• Coordinate responses to alarms, compile incident reports and manage emergency protocols.
• Maintain surveillance equipment, schedule repairs and stay current with new security technologies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a security management role.
• Proven experience in preventing illegal activity and managing access control.
• Deep knowledge of security procedures, surveillance equipment and industry regulations.
• Advanced ability to coordinate responses to breaches and threats.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to respond to security alerts outside regular business hours.
