Security Consultant – Strategy, Risk & Compliance

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Security Consultant to help clients implement security solutions and address regulatory, risk and compliance challenges. You will work closely with stakeholders to design and deliver security initiatives that align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver security solutions and projects that meet client needs and business goals.
• Identify potential security risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
• Create business‑driven security strategies and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful implementation of security initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends and hold multiple cyber‑security certifications.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (preferred).
• Experience with security solution implementation.
• Understanding of risk mitigation and the ability to develop mitigation plans.
• Familiarity with developing security strategies and roadmaps.
• Awareness of current industry trends and commitment to maintaining relevant certifications.
• Proven ability to work closely with clients and internal stakeholders.
