Security Associate – Fixed Term

About the role

As a Security Associate on a fixed‑term basis, you will support the safety and protection of guests, employees, and assets across various hotel areas. You will work under the direction of the Director of Security and be deployed to multiple duty posts as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the duty roster and perform assigned security duties in locations such as the control room, lobby, loading bay, back‑of‑house, VIP parking, and patrol routes.
• Ensure all security systems operate correctly and take immediate corrective action when faults are detected.
• Assist management, staff, and guests in line with protection and prevention objectives.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external government agencies during routine matters and emergencies.
• Monitor back‑of‑house areas, focusing on unauthorized entry and exit points.
• Maintain full knowledge of hotel fire, life‑safety, and emergency procedures.
• Adhere to hotel and departmental policies, attend briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
• Report for duty on time, wearing a clean and complete uniform.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma.
• 1–2 years of experience in security or a related field.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to various duty posts.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
