Search Engine Optimization Specialist (SEO & AI)

About the role

The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will own both traditional search rankings and AI‑driven answer visibility for regulated clients. You will audit, design, and verify content and schema so that search engines and large language models surface accurate, client‑owned information.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a full technical audit of all web properties, documenting findings with URLs, dates, and verification status.
• Develop a comprehensive prompt and keyword universe (150‑250 real‑world questions) across multiple search and AI engines, and grade the results.
• Define and present a strategic roadmap to CXOs, prioritising fixes, content creation, and compliance requirements before any publishing.
• Design content and entity architecture, including schema, canonical structures, internal linking, and fact‑sheet governance.
• Write and defend client fact‑sheets, ensuring entity accuracy and regulatory compliance (e.g., SEBI, RERA, Bar Council).

Required profile

• Intellectual honesty under commercial pressure and ability to back findings with verifiable evidence.
• Strong research instinct and judgement to differentiate signal from noise.
• 3–6 years of experience in SEO, content strategy, digital PR, consulting, or business journalism.
• Experience in regulated industries is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Technical SEO expertise (crawling, indexation, canonicals, structured data, sitemaps, status codes).
• Python programming sufficient to handle medium‑size data sets.
