Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

The Search Engine Optimization Specialist at damnZgood is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Amritsar. You will lead SEO initiatives that boost organic traffic, improve rankings, and enhance website performance for client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor SEO strategies across client websites.
• Conduct keyword research, SEO audits, and on‑page optimization.
• Analyze web metrics to identify technical and content improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to implement best practices.
• Prepare performance reports and actionable recommendations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with search engine algorithm changes, industry trends, and emerging tools.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in keyword research, on‑page SEO, SEO audits, and web analytics.
• Experience with ethical link‑building strategies.
• Familiarity with major search engines and SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience) is a plus.
• Background in digital marketing, technical SEO, and knowledge of HTML/CSS or CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify) is advantageous.
