Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

Selfcraft Media is seeking a full‑time Search Engine Optimization Specialist to join its on‑site team in Rajkot. You will be responsible for designing and executing SEO strategies that boost organic visibility and drive qualified traffic for a diverse portfolio of client websites.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and manage comprehensive SEO campaigns.
• Conduct keyword research to uncover high‑value opportunities.
• Perform detailed SEO audits covering technical, content and structural issues.
• Optimize on‑page elements such as metadata, headings, and site architecture.
• Monitor performance using web analytics tools and generate regular reports.
• Execute ethical link‑building initiatives to increase domain authority.
• Collaborate with content creators and developers to ensure SEO best practices are applied.
• Stay up‑to‑date with search engine algorithm changes and industry trends.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in keyword research and on‑page SEO.
• Hands‑on experience conducting SEO audits.
• Proven ability to develop high‑quality backlink strategies.
• Proficiency in tracking and interpreting SEO metrics with web analytics.
• Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush or Ahrefs.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Effective written and verbal communication for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Relevant experience in digital marketing or SEO; degree or certification in marketing, communications, IT or related field is a plus.
