SDE II - DevOps Engineer

About the role

Auriga is seeking a hands‑on DevOps / SRE Engineer to own the reliability, scalability, and operational health of its production infrastructure. You will manage the full infrastructure lifecycle as code, build CI/CD pipelines, respond to incidents, and partner with engineering teams to embed reliability throughout the software delivery process.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in on‑call rotation, lead incident triage, mitigation, and post‑mortem creation.
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs, manage error budgets, and author blameless postmortems.
• Own infrastructure as code using Terraform, design modular modules, and enforce immutable environments.
• Use Ansible (or equivalent) for configuration, patching, and compliance at scale.
• Provision, upgrade, and maintain production Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE, AKS) and manage Helm charts, GitOps workflows (ArgoCD/FluxCD), RBAC, and secrets.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) with quality gates, rollback, and progressive delivery strategies.
• Implement full‑stack observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger) and SLO‑driven alerting via PagerDuty or OpsGenie.
• Administer Linux systems, manage networking components, load balancers, SSL/TLS, and security groups.
• Handle secrets management with Vault or AWS Secrets Manager and integrate security scanning into pipelines.
• Maintain operational health of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Memcached) including backups, replication, and failover.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of hands‑on production DevOps/SRE or platform engineering experience.
• Proven on‑call experience with incident ownership, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform and configuration tools such as Ansible.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes clusters in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
