Scrub Nurse / OT Nurse – Operating Room

About the role

Sahayog Hospital in Gurugram is seeking a full‑time Scrub Nurse/OT Nurse to support surgeons in the operating theatre. You will ensure a sterile environment, assist with instrument handling, and help maintain patient safety throughout surgical procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile field before each operation.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, managing counts, and handling equipment.
• Conduct pre‑operative patient preparation and post‑operative transfer and documentation.
• Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to infection‑control protocols.
• Participate in quality‑improvement activities and accurate record‑keeping.

Required profile

• Recognized nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc. Nursing) with valid registration from the Haryana Nursing Council.
• Previous experience in an operating theatre or peri‑operative setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and surgical instrument care.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, maintain attention to detail, and respond effectively in emergencies.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts as required by OT schedules.
