School Van Driver

About the role

The School Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from CS Academy campuses in Coimbatore. The role requires punctuality, strict adherence to traffic and safety regulations, and the ability to maintain a respectful environment for all passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the school van along assigned routes, picking up and dropping off students on time.
• Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the van.
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the appropriate authority.
• Keep accurate attendance records and trip logs.
• Enforce safety rules, including seat‑belt usage where applicable.
• Assist students with special needs or younger children during boarding and alighting.
• Cooperate with school authorities, parents, and other drivers.
• Attend scheduled training sessions or meetings as required.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence appropriate for operating a passenger van.
• Good knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ability to follow schedules and maintain punctuality.
• Responsibility for vehicle upkeep and safe driving practices.
