School Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a warm, organized, and proactive Receptionist to be the first point of contact for parents, students, visitors, and staff at 10X International School. This full‑time, onsite position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient front‑office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist parents, visitors, students, and guests with professionalism.
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and front‑desk inquiries.
• Handle visitor registrations and maintain accurate reception records.
• Coordinate appointments and meetings for admissions and leadership teams.
• Support admissions by assisting walk‑in enquiries and scheduling campus tours.
• Maintain student and visitor records with precision.
• Oversee courier services, mail handling, and front‑office documentation.
• Assist with event coordination and various administrative tasks.
• Ensure the reception area remains presentable, organized, and welcoming at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in front‑office, customer service, or receptionist roles; school experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Kannada (Hindi an advantage).
• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service orientation.
• Well‑groomed, confident, and highly organized.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and basic administrative software.
