School Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a caring and qualified School Nurse to deliver first‑aid, basic healthcare, and health monitoring for students and staff. The role ensures a safe, healthy environment within the school and provides prompt medical support when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑aid, basic emergency care, and routine health services to students and staff.
• Monitor student health, conduct health screenings, and maintain up‑to‑date health records.
• Implement infection‑control measures and promote health‑and‑safety practices throughout the school.
• Respond calmly and effectively to medical emergencies and coordinate with external healthcare providers when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of all medical information and ensure accurate documentation.

Required profile

• ANM or GNM qualification from a recognised institution with valid State Nursing Council registration.
• Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience in a school, hospital, clinic, or similar setting.
• Compassionate, attentive, and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Good understanding of child and adolescent health and wellbeing.
• Strong record‑keeping and confidentiality skills.
