About the role

The School Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout CS Academy’s campus. This role ensures a safe, pleasant environment for students, teachers and visitors by keeping classrooms, offices, restrooms and common areas tidy. CS Academy operates three campuses in Coimbatore, offering CBSE and Cambridge International curricula. The housekeeping team contributes to the institution’s mission of providing a clean and nurturing learning environment. The staff plays a key part in upholding the school’s health and safety standards, ensuring that all learning spaces are ready for daily use.

Key responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, staff rooms, washrooms and common areas daily.
• Sweep, mop, dust and vacuum floors and furniture.
• Disinfect surfaces such as desks, doorknobs, switches and railings.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Replenish restroom supplies including soap, tissue and toilet paper.
• Clean windows, glass doors and notice boards regularly.
• Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks) to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and post‑event cleaning for school functions.
• Maintain cleaning tools and supplies in good condition.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
