School Housekeeper

About the role

We are looking for a reliable School Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The role involves daily cleaning of classrooms, corridors, staff rooms, washrooms, and other common areas within the school premises.

Key responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, staff rooms, washrooms, and common areas on a daily basis.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors and furniture.
• Disinfect high‑touch surfaces such as desks, doorknobs, switches, and railings.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to school procedures.
• Replenish restroom supplies (soap, tissue, toilet paper) as needed.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and notice boards regularly.
• Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks) to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and post‑event cleaning for school functions.
• Maintain cleaning tools and supplies in good condition.
• Follow all health, safety, and safeguarding policies.
