School Helper (Cleaning & Maintenance)

About the role

The Helper – School provides general support to ensure a clean and safe learning environment. You will be responsible for maintaining hygiene across classrooms, offices, restrooms and common areas, contributing directly to student wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties throughout the school to keep all areas spotless and welcoming.
• Ensure that hygiene standards are consistently met in every classroom, office, restroom and common area.
• Thoroughly clean classrooms, administrative offices, restrooms and shared spaces on a scheduled basis.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
• Work closely with teachers and administrative staff to address any specific cleaning requirements promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in cleaning or janitorial roles.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and operate cleaning equipment safely.

Required skills

• Strong cleaning and organizational abilities.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Knowledge of cleaning best practices and equipment.
