About the role
We are seeking a dedicated School Helper to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff. The role involves routine cleaning and maintenance across classrooms, offices, restrooms and common areas within the school premises.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain high hygiene standards throughout the school.
- Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways and other shared spaces.
- Monitor and report inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with teaching and administrative staff to address specific cleaning needs.
- Identify and report any health, safety or safeguarding concerns in line with school policies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in cleaning, janitorial or facilities maintenance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate cleaning equipment safely.
- Commitment to the school’s safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusion principles.
Required skills
- Operation of standard cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, etc.).
