School Cleaner (Helper)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable School Cleaner to join our campus community. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will work closely with school personnel to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways and other common areas.
• Maintain high hygiene standards in line with health and safety policies.
• Monitor and report on cleaning supplies and equipment levels.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrative staff to address specific cleaning needs.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and child‑protection procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a cleaning or janitorial role.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and operate equipment safely.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and adhere to safeguarding policies.

Required skills

• Strong cleaning and organisational abilities.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Knowledge of cleaning best practices and proper use of equipment.
