SAP TM Techno Functional Consultant (m/f/d)

About the role

BASF Digital Hub Hyderabad is looking for an SAP TM Techno Functional Consultant to support SAP Transportation Management solutions. The role covers L2/L3 functional support, ABAP debugging, interface maintenance and AMS service delivery, with a hybrid setup.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for SAP TM: freight agreements, transportation planning, execution, freight settlement and charge calculation
• Configure and maintain TM master data (locations, means of transport, schedules, lanes, equipment types)
• Manage integration touchpoints with SD, MM, EWM/WM and Logistics Execution
• Analyse recurring functional issues and propose permanent fixes
• Debug ABAP code, BAdIs, user exits and enhancement points; build and support IDoc, SAP PI/PO, CPI and EDI interfaces
• Support Fiori apps and OData services, monitor background jobs and troubleshoot interface failures
• Assist with authorization (PFCG roles) issues and support outputs/print forms (Adobe Forms/SmartForms)
• Manage tickets via ITSM tools (ServiceNow) within SLAs, follow ITIL processes and perform regression testing
• Maintain knowledge base articles and SOPs, take part in on-call rotation and go-live/hypercare support

Required profile

• 5-7 years of SAP TM experience, including at least one full support or implementation cycle on S/4HANA embedded TM
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain or a related field
• Experience in an AMS/support model with defined SLAs and ticketing tools
• Preferred: SAP TM or S/4HANA Logistics certification, Fiori/UI5 and OData exposure, carrier integration or telematics experience, Adobe Forms/SmartForms basics, freight/logistics or 3PL background
