SAP S/4HANA General Ledger (GL) Expert

About the role

We are looking for a SAP S/4HANA General Ledger (GL) expert to join our finance team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for configuring, testing, and migrating GL processes from SAP R/3 to S/4HANA while ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Act as functional expert for General Ledger accounting in SAP S/4HANA.
• Support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing cycles.
• Validate and cleanse GL configuration, document splitting, financial statement structures, and account determination.
• Ensure accurate migration of balances from R/3 to S/4HANA, including detailed breakdowns.
• Map and create FSV structures for Indian reporting requirements.
• Document processes, develop Power BI dashboards, and explore automation opportunities.
• Conduct end‑user training and update training materials for S/4HANA accounting and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in SAP FI/GL or related finance functions.
• Educational qualification: Cost & Management Accountant (ICMAI), Chartered Accountant (ICAI), MBA Finance, or equivalent accounting certification.
• Experience working in cross‑functional, matrixed environments.
