SAP QM Functional Analyst

About the role

Airbus is driving a digital transformation to modernise its aerospace operations. The Information Management function seeks a SAP QM Functional Analyst to design and deliver quality management solutions across engineering, manufacturing and customer services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and propose optimal SAP QM solutions, including fit‑gap analysis and documentation.
• Define and promote SAP QM best practices and golden rules within the Airbus landscape.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of issues raised by business users and design corrective solutions.
• Develop, execute and maintain test scripts, solution dossiers and other project documentation.
• Conduct end‑to‑end regression testing when required.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and uphold integrity in daily activities.
• Deliver projects on time with first‑time‑right quality.
• Contribute innovative, cost‑effective solutions and collaborate in an agile, multi‑functional team.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of functional experience in SAP QM and 1‑2 years in SAP PP.
• Deep knowledge of the full QM cycle and its integration with PP, MM and other modules.
• Expertise in QM master data configuration and inspection processes (01, 02, 03, etc.).
• Strong understanding of QM notification processes and DMR handling.
• Experience preparing and executing test scripts and maintaining project documentation.
• Basic knowledge of QM certificates, source inspection, serial numbers and DMR.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
