SAP Plant Maintenance Manager – Advisory (Mumbai)

About the role

PwC’s Business Application Consulting team helps clients optimise operational efficiency through SAP solutions. As a SAP Plant Maintenance Manager in the Advisory practice, you will design, implement and support SAP Plant Maintenance and Enterprise Asset Management solutions for clients in Mumbai. You will bridge business maintenance operations with technical system capabilities to drive process efficiencies and successful SAP transformations.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SAP PM master data structures such as Functional Locations, Equipment, BOMs, Task Lists and Work Centers.
• Manage the full lifecycle of maintenance notifications, orders (corrective, preventive, breakdown, predictive) and scheduling, including permit/work clearance management.
• Integrate SAP PM with MM, PP, QM and FI/CO modules to ensure seamless cross‑functional processes.
• Participate in end‑to‑end SAP implementations and S/4HANA transformations, including fit‑to‑standard workshops, data migrations and system testing.
• Troubleshoot user incidents, analyse root causes and resolve change requests, continuously improving maintenance workflows.
• Create functional specifications, process blueprints and user manuals, and deliver end‑user training sessions.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience implementing and supporting SAP Plant Maintenance solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA upgrades and migrations.
• Relevant academic qualification (BTech, MCA, MTech, MBA or related engineering/business degree).
• Proven consulting or advisory experience delivering SAP projects.
