SAP MDG Business Partner Consultant (M/F/D)

About the role

You will join an agile development team responsible for delivering SAP MDG Business Partner solutions across the full project lifecycle. The role involves engineering business requirements, providing second and third‑level support, and guiding team members to build competency in SAP MDG modules.

Key responsibilities

• Execute business requirements engineering and ensure provisioning of standard IT features.
• Perform error analysis, incident and problem resolution (2nd/3rd level support).
• Develop and test new features based on user stories within an agile framework.
• Coach, train and mentor team members on SAP MDG Business Partner modules.
• Take end‑to‑end responsibility for project deliverables, including configuration, testing and deployment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP MDG Business Partner implementations.
• University degree in Business IT, Business Economics, Information Science, Engineering or Natural Science.
• Deep functional expertise in SAP MDG Business Partner configuration, data model, roles, relationships and MDG UI (FPM/Fiori).
• Proven experience with BP creation/change processes, duplicate detection, validations and incident remediation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into validation and enrichment rules using BRFplus.
