SAP HCM Payroll Manager – Advisory (Mumbai)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager to lead SAP HCM and Payroll advisory projects for clients in India. You will work within a team of problem‑solvers, guiding large‑scale transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP HCM/Payroll implementation projects, including multi‑country and location roll‑outs.
• Act as Solution Architect for large transformation programmes, ensuring on‑prem HR and India payroll requirements are met.
• Manage a delivery team of 20+ resources, overseeing day‑to‑day execution and quality.
• Drive pre‑sales activities, develop solution proposals, and support practice growth.
• Maintain a sizeable portfolio of advisory engagements, ensuring client satisfaction and profitability.

Required profile

• Strong HR domain knowledge, preferably with experience in Indian payroll.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect on large, multi‑country SAP HCM/Payroll projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams of 20+ professionals.
• Practice management experience, including pre‑sales, delivery, and portfolio oversight.
