SAP FICO Functional Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI process expert to join our S/4 HANA projects. The role focuses on tax customization, migration preparation, and providing first‑level support during testing and go‑live phases.

Key responsibilities

• Act as SAP FI subject‑matter expert for S/4 HANA implementations.
• Support the Tax Coordinator in requirement gathering and tax customizing per entity and country.
• Prepare migration activities, including tax code creation, data loading, and validation.
• Execute GL account checks, cleanse data, and handle error logs.
• Coordinate test cases, provide INT and UAT support, and deliver key‑user training.
• Manage authorizations, roles, and system landscape documentation.
• Conduct discovery workshops, train on operational processes, and support process improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior and senior functional consultants and translate business requirements into functional specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an SAP FI consultant on S/4 HANA projects.
• Strong knowledge of tax customization, tax code mapping, and migration activities.
• Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders and present solutions in multicultural environments.
• Experience in training end users and supporting INT/UAT phases.
