SAP Controller & AI Executive – Mining Industry

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned SAP Controller & AI Executive to lead financial controlling for our mining business unit. Based in Lower Parel, Mumbai, you will combine deep SAP finance expertise with emerging AI tools to drive accurate reporting and strategic insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage SAP controlling (CO module) and end‑to‑end financial processes.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and deliver precise financial reports.
• Drive process automation and AI‑enabled financial analytics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve system data quality.
• Support implementation and optimisation of SAP and AI solutions in finance.
• Analyse large data sets to provide strategic business recommendations.
• Promote continuous improvement in financial reporting and controls.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification – mandatory.
• Minimum 5 + years of post‑CA experience.
• Proven experience with SAP finance/controlling modules, especially CO.
• Exposure to AI or automation tools (Power BI, Python, R) is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and join immediately.
