SAP Consultant HR Time Management

About the role

The SAP Consultant HR Time Management will support BASF’s Digital Hub in Hyderabad by advising HR business partners on time evaluation logic, working‑time models and regulatory requirements, while designing and maintaining SAP S/4HANA Time Management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise and business consulting on time valuation, absence processes and country‑specific regulations.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust SAP functional concepts and guide process optimisation.
• Design, configure and maintain SAP S/4HANA Time Management (PT) including schemas, rules, work schedules and master data.
• Implement technical changes, coordinate development activities and manage SAP Notes, transport requests and configuration adjustments.
• Oversee system integrations such as Payroll, PA/OM, BTP and external workforce onboarding interfaces.
• Manage day‑to‑day application operations, troubleshoot issues and ensure system stability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, data clean‑up and S/4HANA simplification adoption.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of HR Time Management processes, including time valuation, working‑time regulations and absence management.
• Experience with European country‑specific compliance and legal requirements.
• Proven ability to analyse fit‑gap, propose harmonisation and guide stakeholders through change.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with HR partners and technical teams.
