SAP Competence Center Manager

About the role

The SAP Competence Center Manager will lead the SAP ERP ecosystem, ensuring that functional and technical solutions align with enterprise architecture and business needs. Reporting directly to the IT Vice President, you will work closely with the BPO team to deliver actionable technical solutions and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end management of the SAP ERP platform, ensuring synergy across all SAP products.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to design business solutions for Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Production, HR and other domains.
• Lead, mentor and coach team members in assessing, estimating and delivering SAP ERP solutions.
• Act as IT project manager for SAP‑related initiatives when required.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiations and service delivery within the SAP domain.
• Own system availability and performance, communicating status and improvements to stakeholders.
• Develop and control financial forecasts and budgets for SAP investments.
• Drive decommissioning of legacy SAP systems and plan product releases.
• Ensure system security, conduct regular SAP audits and maintain compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant field; prior experience as an IT SAP Competence Center Lead is a plus.
• Strong business acumen with a customer‑centric mindset.
• 15+ years of SAP ERP experience (R3, S/4 HANA) covering implementation, maintenance and support.
• Demonstrated product management experience.
• Familiarity with SAP pricing models and cross‑module integration.
