SAP CO Consultant (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP CO Consultant to join our team in Hyderabad. You will work closely with business partners to translate requirements into SAP Controlling solutions, ensuring clean core and alignment with SAP best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements, processes and customer needs, and propose SAP standard solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver analysis reports, solution proposals and project plans.
• Promote the use of SAP standard functionality over custom developments.
• Design, configure, prototype and test SAP CO solutions based on BASF business requirements.
• Support preliminary project studies, evaluate third‑party providers and prepare cost estimates.
• Contribute to complex projects, coordinating with internal partners and external providers.

Required profile

• University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business IT, Business Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP CO consulting experience, including at least two full SAP S/4HANA implementation cycles.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Controlling, especially Product Cost Controlling (CO‑PC), Actual Costing, Material Ledger and Inventory Valuation.
• Good to very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and handle pressure.
