SAP BTP Architect

About the role

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced SAP BTP Architect to design and deliver business services on SAP S/4HANA Cloud. The role involves creating extensible solutions that align with Clean Core principles and support RISE and GROW projects across multiple Indian locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expose business services in SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public/Private) using ABAP RAP.
• Create and extend CDS Views for transactional and analytical scenarios.
• Build and publish OData/REST APIs for integration with SAP BTP and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with MDK developers and Integration Suite consultants to deliver end‑to‑end solutions for RISE and GROW projects.
• Ensure performance optimization, reusability, and compliance with SAP best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide estimations, and deliver sprint‑ready increments.
• Support technical migration and extensibility for RISE and GROW deployments.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in any discipline.
• 12+ years of professional experience in SAP development.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with ABAP RAP and CDS Views.
• Proven experience designing OData/REST APIs.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Cloud extensibility and Clean Core guidelines.
• Understanding of SAP BTP services such as Integration Suite and API Management.
• Knowledge of security standards like OAuth2, IAS, and XSUAA.
• Experience with RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP deployment models.
