About the role

TRIPKO is looking for a full‑time Salesperson to join its Kozhikode office. You will help budget‑conscious travelers discover affordable trip options by presenting packages, answering questions, and guiding them through the booking process.

Key responsibilities

• Engage walk‑in and referred customers, understand their travel needs, and recommend suitable budget‑friendly packages.
• Present pricing, features, and payment options clearly and persuasively.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and customer interactions.
• Follow up with prospects, nurture relationships, and encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with the internal team to share feedback, support promotional campaigns, and ensure a consistent customer experience.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Sales and negotiation experience in a retail or service environment.
• Basic knowledge of travel planning or a keen interest in the travel sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and local languages.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Kozhikode and adapt to peak travel seasons.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business or tourism is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers and digital tools such as spreadsheets.
• Experience using CRM or booking platforms for record‑keeping and customer follow‑up.
