Salesforce Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and own automation, data models, and custom functionality for SPAN’s commercial operations. The role works closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to translate business processes into scalable Salesforce solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build end‑to‑end Salesforce automation primarily using Flow, ensuring bulk‑safe and recursion‑aware implementations.
• Model and maintain custom schema, including custom objects, junction objects, relationships, record types, and validation rules.
• Write Apex code and Lightning Web Components when declarative tools are insufficient, with proper test coverage.
• Gather requirements from cross‑functional stakeholders, author design specs and release documentation.
• Own deployments across sandboxes to production using Gearset, following change‑management conventions.
• Maintain and extend the security model (permission sets, field‑level security, profiles, sharing).
• Support and enhance commercial surfaces such as CPQ/quoting, Lead Pass, Experience Cloud portals, and order‑fulfillment integration.
• Leverage AI tools to increase delivery velocity and build AI‑enabled solutions for sales operations.

Required profile

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience as a Salesforce Developer, Administrator, or Business Systems Analyst.
• Advanced expertise in Flow (record‑triggered, screen, subflows, invocable actions) with bulk safety and recursion control.
• Strong data‑modeling skills with custom objects, junction objects, relationships, record types, and validation rules.
• Proficiency in SOQL, Apex development, and Lightning Web Components with test coverage.
• Experience deploying across multiple sandboxes using a formal change‑management process (e.g., Gearset).
• Fluency with Salesforce security model (permission sets, profiles, field‑level security, sharing).
