Sales Specialist

About the role

The Sales Specialist will work full‑time on‑site in Pune, engaging both prospective and existing travelers to understand their needs and recommend suitable travel packages. This role is central to delivering First Class Travel’s “first class” service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers, assess travel requirements and propose appropriate packages.
• Handle inquiries, conduct follow‑ups and close sales while keeping accurate lead and booking records.
• Provide ongoing customer support and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth trip arrangements.
• Promote special offers, itineraries and seasonal promotions.
• Meet or exceed defined sales targets.
• Participate in training sessions and share feedback to improve sales processes.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Core sales competencies such as lead generation, negotiation and closing.
• Experience in travel, tourism, hospitality or a comparable customer‑facing sales environment (preferred).
• Customer‑centric mindset with solid organizational skills.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Pune.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality or related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with CRM tools.
• Familiarity with digital communication platforms.
