Sales Officer – FMCG (Kerala)

About the role

We are expanding our sales network across Kerala and need energetic FMCG sales professionals to drive growth for our newly launched business channel. As a Sales Officer you will work in the field, covering multiple territories and building strong relationships with distributors, retailers and HoReCa partners.

Key responsibilities

• Drive primary and secondary sales in the assigned territory.
• Develop the new business channel while strengthening existing distributor, retailer, GT and HoReCa coverage.
• Identify new outlets, improve product availability and visibility.
• Achieve monthly sales, distribution and collection targets.
• Execute local promotions and in‑market brand initiatives.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide regular market feedback.
• Maintain accurate sales reports and coordinate with internal teams.
• Follow the planned market visit schedule to ensure consistent territory coverage.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of FMCG sales experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in the HoReCa channel.
• Good understanding of distributor management and retail sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.
• Familiarity with the local market in Kerala.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
• Two‑wheeler and a valid driving licence are preferred.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Office.
• Experience with sales reporting tools.
