Sales Officer – Business Development (2-10 yrs experience)

About the role

We are seeking dynamic Sales Officers across India to drive distributor, modern trade (MT) and institutional sales for our innovative coffee products. The role involves generating leads, managing accounts and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to generate distributor, modern trade (MT) and institutional leads to expand business.
• Research and identify new business opportunities across the market.
• Ensure regular interval billing from accounts and follow‑up with prospective leads.
• Prepare and send MIS and regular reports to management.
• Oversee order processing, coordination, dispatch, invoicing, payment collection and post‑sales customer satisfaction.
• Manage email communications and B2B queries for new business development.
• Conduct calls, visits or e‑meetings with prospective partner stores.
• Maintain client happiness by addressing concerns promptly.
• Keep accurate records, statistics and a database of all account information.
• Ensure product availability and visibility across various stores and platforms.

Required profile

• Minimum experience in FMCG sector (must have).
• Proven background in business development and sales (must have).
• Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical ability to monitor competitor activities and promotions, devise strategies and implement them.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
