Sales Officer – Agricultural Products

About the role

The Sales Officer will be based in Belgaum and will drive sales of cattle feed and related products across the assigned territory. This full‑time, on‑site position involves direct interaction with farmers, distributors and retailers to grow market share.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers and channel partners to present product offerings and close sales.
• Generate leads, nurture relationships and expand the customer base in rural markets.
• Process orders, monitor stock levels and report sales performance to management.
• Handle customer service queries and collect market feedback.
• Support promotional activities and collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong sales operations and channel sales experience in a territorial role.
• Effective communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to generate leads and plan basic sales activities.
• Interest or knowledge of agriculture, livestock or cattle‑feed products.
• Willingness to work on‑site, travel within the region and meet defined sales targets.
• Any degree (agriculture, business, marketing or related) is beneficial.
