Sales Manager – Hotel Revenue Growth (Ranchi)

About the role

The Sales Manager will be based on‑site in Ranchi and will lead efforts to increase revenue and market share for the Marriott property. You will develop new business, nurture existing client relationships, and drive sales across corporate, leisure and group segments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Ranchi market.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing corporate, leisure and group clients.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts and rates.
• Collaborate with revenue management and operations to optimise pricing and inventory.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and produce accurate sales forecasts.
• Prospect proactively, conduct regular client visits and represent the property at local events and industry networks.

Required profile

• Strong sales and account‑management experience, preferably in hospitality or service‑oriented industries.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing or a related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• Prior hotel sales or corporate sales experience, with knowledge of the local Ranchi market considered an advantage.
