Sales Manager – Freight & Logistics (India Subcontinent)

About the role

Flexport is looking for a Sales Manager to lead the growth of its air and sea freight business across the India Subcontinent. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting high‑potential accounts to closing deals that expand our global footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Build and grow Flexport’s freight business in the region by acquiring net‑new customers.
• Manage the entire sales funnel, from initial outreach to contract signing.
• Lead discovery sessions to diagnose supply‑chain challenges and design tech‑enabled solutions.
• Present Flexport’s value proposition through digital and in‑person presentations.
• Achieve and exceed individual revenue quotas with a disciplined, strategic approach.
• Coordinate smooth customer hand‑offs with internal operations and specialist teams.
• Act as a regional brand ambassador and generate strategic growth leads for global demand teams.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to align service delivery with evolving client needs.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of full‑cycle, quota‑carrying sales experience.
• Proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong drive for cold‑calling, discovery calls and a goal to become a top‑5 % sales executive.
• Client‑service mindset focused on customer and employee satisfaction.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Strategic vision combined with hands‑on execution capability.
