Sales Manager – Energy Upgrade

About the role

Join Armstrong Fluid Technology to lead the Energy Upgrade strategy across industrial, building and data‑center sectors in northern and eastern India. You will own the full commercial lifecycle, from opportunity development through service and parts, while collaborating cross‑functionally to drive sustainable revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Energy Upgrade strategy, promoting high‑efficiency pumping, HVAC modernization and digital optimisation solutions.
• Identify, prioritize and develop retrofit and decarbonisation opportunities, creating roadmaps with clear energy‑saving, carbon‑reduction and ROI targets.
• Conduct energy audits, system performance assessments and baseline studies to size technical solutions.
• Prepare techno‑commercial proposals, highlighting lifecycle cost benefits, payback analysis and performance guarantees.
• Manage key accounts, develop account plans, and drive win rates through end‑to‑end project governance.

Required profile

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in HVAC, pumping systems, fluid flow/hydronics and heat transfer.
• Minimum 5 years leading energy‑upgrade retrofits of chiller plant rooms.
• Experience managing regional sales teams and channel ecosystems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AI tools.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Infor CRM and Salesforce.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and other engineering tools.
