Sales Executive – Motor Insurance (Telesales)

About the role

The Sales Executive / Sr. Sales Executive will drive sales of motor insurance products, including two‑wheelers, private cars and commercial vehicles. You will convert leads, understand customer insurance needs and help refine sales strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and convert telesales leads for motor insurance (Two‑Wheeler, Four‑Wheeler, Commercial Vehicles).
• Maintain deep knowledge of policy features, add‑on covers and terms across multiple insurers.
• Identify prospects through cold calling, renewals, referrals or digital leads.
• Engage customers to recommend best‑fit policies and assist with issuances, rollovers and renewals.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Provide feedback on lead quality, conversion ratios and customer sentiment.
• Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates and conversion data in CRM tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Graduation (any stream); MBA or relevant insurance/sales certification is a plus.
• 0‑5 years experience in motor insurance telesales or general insurance sales; POSP/IRDAI certification preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Experience with CRM software.
