Sales Executive – Logistics & Freight Forwarding

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and target‑oriented Sales Executive with 1+ year of experience to generate new business opportunities and build strong relationships with clients in the logistics and freight forwarding industry.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new B2B leads through calls, emails, networking and market research.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Promote air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, warehousing and transportation services.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals in coordination with the operations team.
• Follow up with prospects, convert leads into customers and conduct client meetings.
• Coordinate with operations, documentation and customs teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, quotations and sales activities.
• Achieve assigned monthly sales and business‑development targets.

Required profile

• 1+ year experience in sales or business development, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding or shipping.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
• Target‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and business‑development activities.
• Basic understanding of international logistics services such as air freight, sea freight and customs clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Experience using CRM tools for lead and customer management.
