Sales Executive

About the role

The Sales Executive is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kolkata. You will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and translating technical GIS solutions into clear value propositions for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
• Conduct client meetings and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to understand GIS application development and consulting solutions.
• Manage the sales pipeline, prepare proposals and quotations, and follow up on leads.
• Negotiate contracts within defined guidelines and achieve sales targets.
• Report regularly on sales activities, market feedback, and competitor insights to support strategic planning.

Required profile

• Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closing.
• Excellent customer relationship management, communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Understanding of GIS services and application development with a quick learning ability for technical concepts.
• Proficiency in basic office and productivity tools.
• Excellent verbal and written English; Hindi and Bengali are also required.
• Ability to work on‑site in a collaborative, target‑driven environment and travel for client meetings as needed.
• Graduate degree; exposure to GIS products and prior tech‑industry experience is beneficial.
