Sales Executive – Hospitality

About the role

The Sales Executive will act as the primary point of contact for guests, handling inquiries, reservations and loyalty program requests while driving revenue through up‑selling and promotional activities. Based in the Hospitality District of New Delhi, the role supports Marriott’s Sales & Marketing team and ensures a high standard of guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to guest calls, emails and requests, resolving issues and providing information about reservations and Marriott Rewards.
• Apply sales techniques to maximise revenue, including up‑selling rooms, services and complimentary offers.
• Process reservation changes, cancellations and loyalty point redemptions using Marriott’s reservation system.
• Maintain accurate guest and rewards data in the appropriate software.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, emailing, typing and faxing to support the Sales & Marketing department.
• Assist management in training and motivating staff, acting as a role model for service standards.
• Uphold company policies, confidentiality and professional appearance at all times.
• Handle routine physical tasks such as moving objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales, guest services or hospitality.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and internal teams.
