Sales Cashier

About the role

The Sales Cashier is a full‑time, on‑site position at Dave & Buster’s India, located in the Greater Bengaluru Area. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling all point‑of‑sale transactions and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process payments accurately using the POS system and issue receipts.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation.
• Welcome guests, answer questions about promotions, offers, and loyalty programs.
• Manage queues efficiently, resolve basic billing or payment inquiries.
• Coordinate with service and gaming teams to support seamless guest flow.
• Follow standard operating procedures, safety, and compliance guidelines.
• Help keep the cashier area clean and organized.

Required profile

• Strong cash‑handling and basic math abilities.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to promote offers, packages, and loyalty programs.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving, and organizational capabilities.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or entertainment is beneficial.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods in a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional customer‑service training is a plus.
