Sales Associate (Retail Telecom)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join our Vi mini‑store in Ahmedabad. You will be the first point of contact for customers seeking mobile connections, data plans, and related telecom products, helping them find the best solutions for their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, assess their requirements and recommend suitable Vi plans and accessories.
• Demonstrate product features, process new connections, recharges and billing queries.
• Maintain store appearance, manage basic inventory of SIM cards and accessories.
• Accurately record transactions using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Meet daily and monthly sales targets while delivering courteous service.
• Escalate technical or complex issues to the appropriate support team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear communication skills.
• Basic sales ability – identify needs, present options and close sales ethically.
• Reliability, punctuality and ability to work full‑time on‑site.
• Minimum high school education; prior retail or telecom experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Comfort using smartphones and simple digital tools for activations and record‑keeping.
