About the role

As a Sales Associate at Lenskart, you will be the front‑line ambassador delivering an exceptional in‑store experience. You will guide customers through free eye check‑ups, recommend suitable eyewear, and help drive store revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome walk‑in customers, directing them to the clinic and promoting free eye examinations.
• Maintain sales‑floor standards, conduct stock takes, and ensure the store’s visual presentation is tidy.
• Operate the Point‑of‑Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions.
• Understand customers’ needs, recommend appropriate frames, lenses, or sunglasses, and convert conversations into sales.
• Achieve assigned sales targets, eye‑test conversion rates, and manage product returns following SOPs.
• Coordinate product pick‑up with customers after warehouse communication.
• Verify lens accuracy before hand‑over and address return reasons to minimise return rates.
• Uphold hygiene standards for displays, frames, instruments, and store equipment.
• Secure store assets, monitor stock levels, and prevent damage or loss.

Required profile

• Graduation degree.
• Minimum 1 year of non‑tele‑sales experience.
• Strong rapport‑building and active listening abilities.
• Ability to identify unstated customer needs and propose solutions.
• Clear articulation, adaptability to a dynamic environment, and openness to learning.
• Proactive, result‑oriented, and customer‑focused mindset.
• Effective multitasking and prioritisation skills.
