Sales Associate – Retail (Chennai / Pune)

About the role

Lenskart is looking for enthusiastic Sales Associates to deliver an exceptional in‑store experience for customers in its Chennai and Pune locations. You will guide shoppers through free eye check‑ups, recommend suitable eyewear, and ensure smooth transaction processing.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all walk‑in customers, promoting free eye check‑ups.
• Maintain sales‑floor standards, conduct stocktakes, and keep the store clean and organized.
• Use the POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Understand customer needs, recommend appropriate frames and lenses, and convert conversations into sales.
• Achieve assigned targets for sales, eye‑test conversions, and returns while adhering to SOPs.
• Coordinate product pickup, verify lens accuracy, and handle returns with a focus on reducing return rates.
• Ensure security of store equipment and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or damage.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused attitude with a commitment to high satisfaction.
• Basic understanding of POS operations.
• Ability to meet sales targets and follow standard operating procedures.
• Willingness to attend mandatory offline training at Lenskart Academy.
