Sales Associate

About the role

The Sales Associate will work on‑site at our Mumbai store, directly assisting customers with Bridlen’s high‑spec classic shoes. You will guide shoppers on fit, style and product details while delivering a premium service that reflects our heritage of Japanese craftsmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers, understand their needs and recommend appropriate footwear.
• Present Bridlen’s collections, explain Goodyear‑welted construction and care.
• Process sales transactions, handle returns and exchanges using the POS system.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store layout showcases products effectively.
• Organise inventory, support stock checks and replenish shelves as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and collect customer feedback.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
• 1‑2 years of retail or customer‑facing experience (preferred).
• High school diploma; further studies in business, retail management or fashion are a plus.
• Fluent English; proficiency in local languages is advantageous.
• Interest in footwear, fashion or luxury goods and willingness to learn about Goodyear‑welted shoes.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
