Sales Associate – Insurance & Financial Products

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Associate to join our Goa branch and promote HDFC Life’s range of protection, pension, savings, investment and health products. You will work directly with prospective and existing customers, understand their financial goals and recommend suitable insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads through various channels and schedule customer meetings.
• Present product features, benefits and optional riders, answering queries clearly.
• Assist customers in completing applications, gathering required documentation and ensuring timely submission.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system and provide regular sales reports.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets while complying with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with branch staff and Financial Consultants to identify cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in any discipline; professional finance or insurance certifications are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑centric attitude.
• Basic understanding of insurance, savings and investment concepts; prior BFSI experience is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple leads, meetings and follow‑ups efficiently.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Goa and adhere to ethical standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for customer data management.
• Good command of MS Office applications for reporting and documentation.
