Sales Associate (Hospitality)

About the role

The Sales Associate will support the Sales & Marketing team at Marriott International’s Faridabad property. This full‑time, on‑site position handles a variety of office tasks, prepares sales documentation and acts as a primary point of contact for guests and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general office duties such as filing, emailing, typing, faxing and copying.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, banquet event orders and other sales‑related documents.
• Promote Marriott’s brand internally and externally by assembling brochures and promotional material packages.
• Enter, retrieve, reconcile and verify sales data (commissions, leads, third‑party information) in the relevant software.
• Answer guest inquiries about facilities, rates, packages, promotions and special events.
• Serve as the main contact for clients via phone and email, responding to questions and requests.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information and adherence to company policies.
• Support team goals, develop positive working relationships and comply with quality‑assurance standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related sales or administrative experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift, carry or move objects up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Professional demeanor, strong communication skills and commitment to guest service.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy and proficiency with standard office software (email, word processing, spreadsheets).
