Sales Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Sales Account Manager to generate revenue, build and maintain strong client relationships, and develop market‑focused strategies across allocated accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Make sales calls and prepare client proposals and presentations.
• Plan weekly sales cycles by mining allocated accounts and conducting client meetings.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, including projections and plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and agencies within the portfolio.
• Track competition, monitor market information, and understand client spend at the brand level.
• Develop go‑to‑market approaches, upsell and cross‑sell across media properties.
• Generate media prospects, provide briefs for programming, and ensure proper scheduling of spots.
• Maintain pricing targets and oversee multimedia solution design (on‑ground, digital, content, media, PR).
• Follow up on payments, send reminders, and ensure timely collection.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Content, Finance, Scheduling, and Corporate teams.

Required profile

• MBA or PGDM with 1‑5 years of experience in sales and marketing.
• Strong collaboration, pressure handling, adaptability, and branding focus.
• Excellent communication skills and a mandatory understanding of the local market and language.
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
