Safety & Security Team Member

About the role

As a Safety & Security Team Member at Six Senses Vana you will protect guests, staff and assets while supporting the resort’s commitment to sustainability, wellness and exceptional hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and control patrolling activities of security guards, ensuring full coverage of all resort areas.
• Monitor movements of guests, visitors, contractors and staff in public, back‑of‑house and entry/exit routes.
• Oversee jetty screening to prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct preliminary investigations of security incidents and report findings to the Front Office Manager.
• Assist the Fire Command Centre and maintain knowledge of fire‑life safety systems and emergency procedures.
• Uphold Six Senses service standards, LQA requirements and performance benchmarks.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in security or safety roles within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Current certifications in First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator use.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Familiarity with security monitoring systems.
• First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator certification.
